What is it?
IT Helpdesk is an online IT support service available from 9:00am to 18:00pm from Monday to Friday.
Main services:
- Newcomers – User and email accounts creation, PC preparation and configuration
- Equipment pool – Lending, preparation, configuration and installation of PC, laptops, thin clients for general use in laboratories and visits, but also cameras, DVD writers, USB drives, etc.
- OS installation, configuration and support: Windows XP, Linux openSUSE and Ubuntu
- Office suites support: MS Office and OpenOffice
- Programs installation, support, updates and maintenance
- Limited support for Mac OS X and others.
- License management: Windows, Office, etc.
- Anti-virus prevention and cleaning in case of infection.
- Purchase of hardware for the user (PCs, laptops, accessories, etc.).
- Hardware support
