What is it?

IT Helpdesk is an online IT support service available from 9:00am to 18:00pm from Monday to Friday.

Main services:

• Newcomers – User and email accounts creation, PC preparation and configuration

• Equipment pool – Lending, preparation, configuration and installation of PC, laptops, thin clients for general use in laboratories and visits, but also cameras, DVD writers, USB drives, etc.

• OS installation, configuration and support: Windows XP, Linux openSUSE and Ubuntu

• Office suites support: MS Office and OpenOffice

• Programs installation, support, updates and maintenance

• Limited support for Mac OS X and others.

• License management:  Windows, Office, etc.

• Anti-virus prevention and cleaning in case of infection.

• Purchase of hardware for the user (PCs, laptops, accessories, etc.).
