Electronics Purchasing

What is it?

CELLS Electronics Section offers centralized purchasing for electronic products. We can help you choose the best equipment and save you time and money in the order management and negotiation. We also check your need cannot be fulfilled with any existing equipment from the lab pool.

Ordering Procedure:

To order equipment, fill directly the ordering spreadsheet with the following information:

1. Name and Division of the requestor
2. Description of the item
3. Number of units needed
4. Unit Price
5. Supplier (Onda Radio, RS or Farnell only)
6. Urgency (Normal / Urgent)
7. Date
8. Concept (project or activity where it will be used)

Normal purchase orders will be issued every Friday and delivered within 10 days. Urgent purchase orders will be issued on the next day and delivered 24 hours later with special delivery fees, so prefer normal purchase whenever possible.

We may contact you for approval if we find better pricing with other providers and/or need to change the delivery date.

Once the material arrives, we will contact you to arrange pick up from the Electronic Lab.
