System Acceptance Test - SAT
What is it?
System Acceptance Tests or SAT are special control systems developed to control the functioning of a subsystem upon reception before sending the acceptance to the provider.
Basically it consists in preparing the basic standard control system to check if the equipment to be accepted fulfills its specifications.
Use cases:
- Motions: Resolution, Accuracy, Repeatibility, Crosstalk, Backlash, Speed, Stability, Sphere/Radius of Confusion, and Ranges.
- Mirrors: Radius of curvature, Planarity with different bendings, Stabilitat, Thermal/Mechanical drifts
- Alignment verifications
