TAURUSGUI - A Taurus-based rapid GUI creation framework

What is it?

TaurusGUI is a high abstraction level interface for creating graphical user interfaces (GUIs). It is based on Taurus library and enables the rapid and codeless creation of flexible GUIs by the means of configuration files.

Applications created with TaurusGUI share a common set of convenience features and tools as well as the same look-and-feel. Perhaps the most evident feature from the final user point of view is the ability to customise the list and arrangement of items in the GUI.

Initially designed to provide GUIs to beamlines, TaurusGUI is being used in a much wider range applications.
